What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aide: Title One Reading position at Ottawa USD 290?
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that will work during the school year for a Title One Reading Aide at Sunflower Elementary School. Tentative start date is August 1, 2025. Grade-level assignments will be based on District needs and individual candidates' qualifications.
External Candidates: Background check will be performed by District and TB test (at applicant expense) will be required.
High School diploma or GED required. Some college hours preferred
Full-time positions are for 37.5 hours per week, with mandatory training required.
BENEFITS: Aides working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, health, and a variety of supplemental insurances. Full-time employees receive 12 days of leave per year (6 personal days, 6 sick days). Leave hours will be pro-rated based on hire date.
