What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Ottawa USD 290?
This FULL-TIME posting for the school year . Building/grade-level assignments will be based on District needs and individual candidates' qualifications. Background checks and drug/physical screens are required.
Successful candidates must complete paraprofessional training before classroom work.
High School diploma or GED required. Some college hours preferred
Full-time positions are for 37.5 hours per week, with some mandatory training required. Part-time positions will be considered.
BENEFITS: Paraprofessionals working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, health, and a variety of supplemental insurances. Full-time employees receive 12 days of leave per year (6 personal days, 6 sick days).
