What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Ottawa USD 290?
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that will work during the school year. Building/grade-level assignments will be based on District needs and individual candidates' qualifications. Part-time positions will be considered.
Background check will be performed. TB test (at applicant expense) will be required.
High School diploma or GED required. Some college hours preferred. Mandatory training is required.
Full-time positions are for 37.5 hours per week, with mandatory training required.
Part-time positions available.
BENEFITS: Paraprofessionals working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, health, and a variety of supplemental insurances. Full-time employees receive 12 days of leave per year (6 personal days, 6 sick days). Leave hours will be pro-rated based on hire date.
