The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Security Engineer with deep systems expertise to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and operating large-scale systems that ensure reliable, rapid deployment, robust monitoring, and resilient operations.
Your Impact
- Help design, monitor, and improve the security of the devices and services in AWS cloud
- Analyze, assess, and respond to various internet threats, interacting directly with the Otter's engineering community regarding vulnerabilities and threats
- Drive security engineering projects to eliminate attack vectors, harden the product, and enhance monitoring and intrusion detection systems.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to implement security controls to efficiently deliver on security and privacy compliance requirements
- Work with in-house application development teams ensuring that best practices for security are incorporated in the software development life cycle (DAST, SAST, etc.)
- Write scripts and build tools that will use used to detect security issues upfront
- Be a security champion, while balancing developer efficiency with business needs

Salary range
Salary Range : $185,000 to $210,000 USD per year
This salary range represents the low and high end of the estimated salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered for the role is dependent based on several factors. Our base salary is just one component of our comprehensive total rewards package.
