Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a skilled Journeyman Lineman or Well-Qualified Apprentice Lineman in a dynamic work environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for erecting, maintaining, and repairing overhead power distribution systems, including framing and erecting poles, attaching necessary fixtures and equipment, and stringing and splicing conductors.
You will also perform routine patrol duties, clearing up storm damage as needed, and use electrical instruments to troubleshoot and repair issues. Your expertise in mechanical equipment and ability to work effectively with others will be valuable assets to our team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent experience
- Unrestricted interstate commercial driver's license
- Thorough knowledge of electric line and underground construction, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
