Location: Fergus Falls, MN* (potential for up to 2 hybrid work days per week)

In this role, the Software Engineer will support critical real-time software applications mainly in System Operations and other areas within the company, as well as:
- Ensure availability, functionality and usability of internal data processing and data management software applications for various internal teams, problem solving and troubleshooting as needed.
- Deliver exceptional and real-time solutions and internal customer service when applications don’t function as needed or expected.
Qualifications:

- Flexibility and adaptability to shift priorities and resources to meet varying end user and departmental needs and goals.
- Range of knowledge and experience with software databases, programming languages such as C#, SQL, and OpenEdge ABL/Progress and client/server applications - power system, transmission and energy scheduling concepts are beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration between varied teams and provide internal customer service.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight and provide support during non-core (9-5) hours.

- The expected base compensation for this role is $62,000 - $79,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
