Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance programs.
- Research compliance laws and enforcement trends to create policies and procedures that align with industry standards.
- Answer questions on compliance policies as part of a Center of Excellence.
- Conduct compliance training and develop guidance documentation.
- Manage compliance projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Administer compliance technologies used by business partners throughout the organization.
- Generate basic reports and charts using Excel.
- Provide consulting on alleged violations, mitigating compliance risks, and improving compliance programs.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, law, risk management, audit, or a related field (e.g., food safety, healthcare, environmental health & safety).
- 3 years of experience in a compliance or licensing function, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Preferred certifications: Six Sigma, Project Management, Certified Corporate Compliance Professional (CCEP), Paralegal/Legal Research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, think critically, and problem-solve.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across divisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
