Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and optimizing industrial conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily operations, allocating responsibilities, and ensuring smooth maintenance activities while maintaining a hands-on approach to support your team and address complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership & Supervision :

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient operation.

  • Allocate daily responsibilities based on the skills and experience of team members, ensuring effective work distribution and meeting operational goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide performance feedback, and promote a positive and safety-focused work environment.
  • Train and develop team members on the proper maintenance procedures and technical skills related to industrial conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Hands-On Maintenance Support :
  • Actively participate in troubleshooting and repairing complex issues related to industrial conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team when required, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as necessary to maintain optimal system functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance Planning & Execution :
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.

  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are operating at peak performance, implementing upgrades and improvements where needed.
  • Monitor the condition of machinery and systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they lead to failure.
  • Safety & Compliance :
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring the team follows safety protocols and industry regulations.

  • Conduct safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting :
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including equipment status, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules.

  • Prepare and submit maintenance reports, including work order completion, system performance, and any issues that require attention.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all maintenance activities.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical certifications preferred).
  • Proven experience (3 years) in industrial maintenance, with a focus on conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar equipment.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with industry standards (OSHA, etc.).
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and other industrial automation systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
