National leader in LTL / FTL Transport is seeking an experienced Container Freight Station Agent to coordinate CFS Operations from A to Z in their HQ located in Hawthorne. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in the coordination of container freight moves throughout the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. This role provides opportunities to work overtime based on operational needs as well as continued opportunities for growth and cross training.
Schedule : Full Time
Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PM
Responsibilities
- Assist with overseeing warehouse operations including movement of cargo, pickups, drop offs, and consolidation
- Billing / invoicing
- Answer incoming calls and emails for customer requests
- Take bookings from customers
- Track shipments and communicate with clients regarding the status
- Create strategic routes for freight from point of origin to destination
- Update shipments in Trans Soft
- Other operational duties as required
