Description

This full-time position will ideally suit a newly licensed (1-5 years) Civil Engineer or EIT that has familiarity in AutoCAD Civil 3D design and preparing plan sets for land development. Design skills should include grading, utility, and stormwater design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Civil engineering experience related to site design and land development
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, & HydroCAD
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
  • Knowledge of site development bidding and construction

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
  • Develop grading, street & utilty plans
  • Prepare specifications and construction cost estimates
  • Review and apply municipality / watershed requirements to project design
  • Monitor construction schedule and work with contractors, clients, and review agencies
