Position Summary:
Functions as a member of the treatment team and accepts responsibilities for specifically assigned duties, such as patient observation rounds, suicide risk observation and assisting with behavior modification programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION
MHT
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum associates degree in Psychology or related field (if no experience in psychiatric facility or similar environment).
CNA
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of and certification from an approved 75 and/or 120 hour nursing assistant program.
EXPERIENCE
MHT
- One year of experience as a MHT in a psychiatric facility or similar environment (if no minimum associates degree in Psychology or related field).
CNA
- Prefer at least one year of experience as a CNA in a psychiatric healthcare setting.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
- Current CNA certificate.
