Duties include –
- Interview applicants and originate mortgage loans
- Evaluate applications
- Schedule and attend closings
- Establish and maintain relationships with realtors and builders to grow business and originate loans
- Solicits new residential mortgage business to meet production goals
- Promote and cross-sell member services
- Attends networking events which are occasionally outside of regular business hours
- Meet with members in both our Lancaster and Logan branches

The pay for this position starts at $22.20 per hour, with relevant education and experience considered in determining the starting pay rate. This position also earns incentive monthly, and we do not put any cap or maximum on the amount of incentive the successful candidate can earn.

- Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Experience in mortgage origination or at least 2 years experience in lending in a financial institution
- Experience in explaining and cross-selling products
- License with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
- Knowledge of lending regulations and credit reports required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to generate leads and close transactions in a fast paced environment
- Some travel to our Logan branch required

- Hybrid schedule possible after initial training
