Position Summary
Ounalashka is seeking a seasoned Environmental Consultant to join our team in Unalaska, AK. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in leading environmental restoration projects in rural Alaska.
About the Role
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop work plans and schedules.
- Work closely with site Superintendents to execute approved work plans.
- Serve as the technical lead for environmental scientists in data collection, site investigation, evaluation of data collected, and remediation activities.
This role requires extensive experience in environmental fieldwork, including contaminated soil sampling, removal action, monitoring well installation and sampling, and Phase I/II site investigations.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in environmental restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
