About the Position
Ounalashka is looking for a seasoned Lead Environmental Scientist to join our team in Unalaska, AK. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in leading environmental restoration projects in rural Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective project plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with site Superintendents to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
This position requires a high level of expertise in environmental fieldwork, including site investigation, characterization, and remediation projects regulated by ADEC, USACE, EPA, and/or state agencies.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in environmental restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
