The Internal Relationships Manager is responsible for managing and fostering communication between non-clinical departments (IT, Managed Care, Finance, Call Center, payers, etc.) to ensure alignment and effective collaboration with the revenue cycle team. This role focuses on improving internal processes and ensuring all relevant teams are aligned on shared priorities and reporting. The successful candidate will create an efficient communication framework, streamline cross-departmental workflows, and ensure smooth operations between departments that contribute to the success of the revenue cycle.
Essential Functions:
- Identifies and engages with non-clinical departments (IT, Managed Care, Finance, Call Center, payers, etc.) that require regular communication, particularly those intersecting with the revenue cycle.
- Develops and implements a cadence for ongoing communication with each department, determining the most effective method and frequency (meetings, reports, emails, etc.) to maintain alignment.
- Ensures all internal teams are aligned with the revenue cycle’s objectives, priorities, and timelines, fostering collaborative approaches and shared goals.
- Coordinates and manages the delivery of relevant reports, data, and information across departments to ensure clarity and consistency in understanding shared priorities.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements that can streamline communication, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure all teams are aligned in achieving operational objectives.
- Acts as a liaison to resolve any communication gaps or misunderstandings between departments, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders in non-clinical departments to facilitate transparency, knowledge sharing, and cooperative problem-solving.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Work Experience
- 5 years of experience in managing internal communications or projects in a multi-department environment
- Proven experience with the revenue cycle process and its intersection with various operational areas (IT, Finance, Managed Care, etc.).
- Experience in cross-departmental collaboration, particularly in non-clinical settings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships across multiple teams and departments.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze and report on key performance metrics and translate that data into actionable insights for multiple departments.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Exhibits excellent time management and prioritization abilities. Communicates effectively both one-on-one and in a group setting with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role and may require occasional travel for meetings or training sessions.

Pay Range: $80,000 to $110,000 annually
Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to market data, education, experience, qualifications, and expertise of the individual and internal equity considerations.
