Essential Duties
- Engages with a determined caseload of families with children, providing excellent customer service while adhering to Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) and Family Resource Center Association (FRCA) requirements and recommendations.
- Conducts initial home visits and completes intake process, assessing initial needs.
- Works on an ongoing basis with families to set goals, provide referrals to resources and promote and assist with goal achievement.
- Evaluates eligibility and provides direct financial assistance to meet family identified economic needs.
- Monitors participant and family satisfaction regarding services provided to inform quality improvement and assurance.
- Timely and accurately enters required and relevant information in to databases.
- Connects participants with community resources identified to be of benefit.
- Collaborates with community partners to develop and nurture strong relationships for mutual benefit.
- Develops, maintains and nurtures relationships within the community at large.
- Assists in connections with and referrals to community resources.
- Attends all regularly scheduled meetings, trainings and development opportunities provided CDEC and FRCA.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in case management.
- Minimum three years’ experience using Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, and ability to meet OUR Center’s driving standards.
- Ability to occasionally work outside of regular office hours in order to meet organizational commitments in the community.
- Work is primarily performed in a typical office setting.
- Prolonged periods of using a computer.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of approximately 20 lbs.
- Driving throughout the area on a regular basis is required.
Salary : $26 - $28
