Job Description: We're seeking a passionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You'll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. This is a full time position. Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with children
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
- Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
- Implement behavior-based treatment plans
- Educate parents on classroom support techniques
- Ensure safety and quality care for clients
- Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
- Maintain training materials and supplies
- Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources
- Uphold dress and grooming standards
- Perform other duties as assigned, including cleanup and incident reporting
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience with children and strong people skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Work Location: In-Person / Client Home, Smithfield, VA
