Our Children’s Trust is seeking a Contract Litigation Paralegal at 10hrs/week to support our Legal team.
The Contract Litigation Paralegal is a remote, 1099-Contract opportunity, with an hourly rate range of $45-55/hour.
Work schedule will be determined based on an incumbent's availability and project need and deadlines.
An ideal candidate will have: 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience a high level of dependability, being able to respond quickly to litigation needs including short deadlines, a demonstrated commitment to legal excellence; have multijurisdictional experience in the fields of constitutional, human rights, environmental, and/or civil rights litigation; high proficiency with Westlaw, Microsoft 365, docket management, timekeeping, client management, document management software, and Blue Book; and high level of self-management and agency.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Litigation Practice, this contractor will assist Staff Attorneys by reviewing, preparing, and filing court papers in jurisdictions across the United States; researching and summarizing court rules; managing electronic discovery; providing clerical and basic research support services, including document preparation and review; and research and fact-checking.
