Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. This role requires proficiency in cash handling and POS systems, as well as the ability to manage staff effectively while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of café operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained at all times.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using POS systems.
- Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Monitor food safety practices to comply with health regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Assist in menu planning and development to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food industry or café environment.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
