Assistant Buyer, Patio Collection
The Assistant Buyer, Patio Collection is an expansion role within the Rooms To Go family! The individual will be responsible for understanding and illustrating best practices in the purchasing and flow of merchandise for our Patio Collection. The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for working with vendors on product selection / curation, product evaluation, and product performance. This is a great role to get your foot in the door with one of America's largest furniture retailers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- This person will learn how to maintain weekly inventory flow to multiple warehouses, report inventory projections and produce sales and store analytics
- Work to provide smooth flow of goods into multiple distribution centers
- Partner with various business stakeholders in Stores, Logistics, DC Operations, and Factories
- Managing and overseeing shipping of all furniture for which you are responsible for flowing
- Maintain inventory reports and sales analysis for both store and online
- Both online and through internal product data management
- Work to provide smooth flow of goods, partner with various internal and external teams to achieve business goals
- Researching product and style trends, working with suppliers, shopping the marketplace, curating online lineup from SKU creation to onboarding
- Managing and overseeing the entire SKU launch process
