What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Lead position at our company?
Vivacity Tech PBC is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Lead located at our Thornton, CO location. The Shipping and Receiving Lead will be responsible for the shipping and receiving, planning, organizing and executing all sales orders and purchase orders to ensure orders are shipped and received efficiently and on time.
This will be a first shift, M-F position

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Hire V-Mates, while ensuring that every candidate has a full and extensive experience
- Train team members towards success and positive performance in their roles
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback
- Create and monitor schedules and work times including approving and managing time cards
- Resolve employee issues and disputes, partnering with the P C team when necessary
- Responsible for all sales order shipping . This may include, but not limited to parts, production orders, sales orders, and returns.
- Communicates with the fulfillment team, and parts team regarding when orders will be ready for shipment to ensure a smooth transition from fulfillment to production.
- Communicates with the Production team about the progress of production orders to ensure they are shipped by a deadline.
- Leads a team to ensure a timely shipping of sales order, and the receiving of all purchase orders
- Investigates and resolves any shipping related issues
- Maintains knowledge of the processes and equipment used throughout the shipping process
- Regularly informs and updates members of rules, regulations and objectives
- Trains other members of the Shipping and Receiving team team
- Performs other job related duties as assigned

What Education and Experience Levels Are We Looking For?:
- Minimum 1 years relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to bend, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs
