Overview
We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Nannies to provide exceptional care for children in a warm and safe environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness. This role involves engaging with children through play, educational activities, and daily routines while fostering a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, accommodating dietary restrictions as needed.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks to support academic growth.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help children navigate their feelings and social interactions.
- Transport children to school, activities, or appointments as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation duties.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the family's needs.
