Job Overview:
Our Hope Lutheran Preschool is seeking a dedicated Teacher's Aide to join our team. As a Teacher's Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our educators in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of children in a faith-based educational setting. Hours: 11:30am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote childhood development.
- Support classroom management by ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with educators to educate and supervise children during various activities.
- Aid in curriculum development and implementation to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide childcare assistance and support to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Assist in preparing materials and resources for lessons and activities.
- Help with maintaining a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with lesson planning techniques tailored to young learners.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in supporting educators with classroom management.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
