About the Role
You will be responsible for providing evidence-based care and therapeutic services to Our House clients, specifically individuals and families, to help meet the biopsychosocial needs of those clients. You will provide significant leadership in the integration of a client’s involvement with Our House programs, helping to ensure that all aspects of their needs are being met.
What You’ll Do
- Provide the following services for individuals and families who participate in Our House programs:
- Identify individuals and families who need help and provide diagnostic and comprehensive assessments using a strengths-based approach
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy based on the mental and behavioral health challenges of Our House clients
- Develop treatment plans with clients and families to help resolve challenges and reach individualized goals
- Make internal and external referrals of clients to other Our House programs or partners. Research community and government resources that benefit families and make appropriate referrals
- Directly respond to crisis situations using de-escalation techniques and support the team in responding to crisis situations
- Assist case managers and others in helping families coordinate their behavioral and primary healthcare, including performing mental health evaluations (MHEs) for families enrolled in our programs and referring to on campus and off campus health clinics
- Regularly follow up with individuals and families to ensure that their situations have improved and that they have the resources to maintain stability long term
- Maintain client files, case notes, and required documentation in an organized way
- Evaluate clients’ progress and, if necessary, adjust their treatment plans
- Maintain client confidentiality and a high level of integrity around private health information
- Directly lead psychosocial, educational, and process groups
- Collaborate with other team members and partners to facilitate parenting education programming and hands-on programming that builds client life skills
- Ensure that all clients are treated fairly and with respect and that Our House maintains an environment that is inclusive and safe for all people
- Build partnerships with outside organizations to improve services to our clients and families and coordinate Our House services with other community resources
- Coordinate closely with Our House Case Managers and other program teams to ensure clients are maximizing engagement with all programs on campus
- Educate staff and families of programs happening around the Our House campus
- When possible, supervise, coach, and support social work interns or trainees, and be a champion of Our House as a learning lab for those in the social work community
- Provide leadership in program development around Our House social work services
- Actively participate in weekly staff meeting, staffing, committees, and other team meetings
- Actively engage and energize Our House staff members, volunteers, board members, event committees, partnering organizations, donors, and grant funders
- May provide professional and staff development training for staff around client services and social work topics
- Maintain licensure and all required continuing education
- Other duties as assigned to fulfill Our House’s mission

Requirements
- Must be an LMSW, LCSW, LAC, or LPC
- Master’s degree is required
- 2 years of experience post Master’s degree
- Must be willing to work 10:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday or other schedule upon supervisor approval
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks, child and adult maltreatment registry checks, sex offender registry checks, and a pre-employment drug screen
