Description:
The Assistant Site Manager supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with activities of daily living, community inclusion and in learning independent living skills in group homes or apartments and assists the Site Manager in managing the residence and supervising staff. The Assistant Site Manager assumes the Site Manager's responsibilities during the Site Manager's absence.
Position Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 3pm-11pm & Sunday: 9am-4pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Support residents in developing independent living skills such as nutrition, hygiene, money management, and social skills.
- Assist residents with personal care, including hygiene and medical needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation.
- Promote community integration for residents.
- Attend staff meetings and complete required training sessions.
- Advocate for residents' rights and individual needs.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records.
- Drive agency vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments and community events during your shift.
- Assist with supervising residential staff: provide training, assign tasks, monitor performance, and offer input on evaluations. Communicate staff needs or changes to the Site Manager.
- Support Site Manager with home/apartment management: maintain resident logs, assist with social and recreational planning, handle budgeting and spending, ensure maintenance of the home and vehicle, and facilitate weekly house meetings.
- Aid in residential development by helping set and achieve resident goals, collaborate with the Site Manager to develop resident goals through the Interdisciplinary Team and the IHP/ISP process.
- Track residents' progress toward IHP/ISP goals and document daily progress notes.
- Complete assignments given by the Site Manager.

Requirements:- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Own transportation to and from work and between work sites
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 21
- Must be able to attend and pass and maintain agency provided (Paid) trainings
- Demonstrated ability to enter notes for services and billing in an electronic health records system
- Intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Office
