Required Certifications : BLS
Years of Experience : 1 Year (strong MS)
Accepts 1st Time Travelers
Community Hospital Experience Required
Float Required : Yes
Weekend Coverage : Every Other Weekend
Communication System : SBAR
Documentation System : Meditech
Patient Age Group : Adults, Geriatrics
Primary Diagnoses : Primarily post op surgical patients with occasional medical (non-telemetry) patients.
Special Procedures / Unit Details : Spine certified- (The unit is Joint Commission Spine Certified. It has no bearing on the nurse- just a descriptor.)
Required Skills : Med / Surg, Colostomy Care, Feeding Tube Care and Management, Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal Failure, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central Line Blood Draw, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Phlebotomy, PICC Line Management, Starting IV's, Heparin, PCA, CVA, Peripheral Nerve Block Catheters, Surgical Drains, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen Face Masks, Portable Oxygen Tank, Isolation Precautions.
Job Requirements
BLS Required for all clinical candidates, preferably from AHA or ARC.
Community Hospital Experience Required
1 Year of Experience (strong MS)
