JOB TITLE: Computer Studies Teacher
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for teaching Computer Studies courses in grades 9-12.

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Reports to Principal
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for lesson planning, teaching, and assessing computer skills
and content as well as forming students in a manner consistent with a Xaverian Brothers
Sponsored School.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications or related content area
required. Master’s Degree and state certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Student teaching or similar experience required. 3-5 years teaching experience
preferred.
SKILLS: Ability to plan and deliver effective lesson plans, assess student learning, work as a
member of a collaborative team, communicate with students, parents, and colleagues,
enforce school policies, and follow school procedures. Ability to effective leverage technology
in performance of duties.
REQUIRED WORK HOURS: Full-time, 10 month, exempt.
SALARY: $44,640 - $100,000

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
The annual base salary range is commensurate with experience. Good Counsel offers a
