Third Grade Teacher

Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School (OLLIS) in Columbia is seeking a dedicated, third-grade teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. OLLIS is a K-8 Catholic school, home to approximately 635 students, and offers a supportive, faith-centered environment committed to academic excellence.

  Classroom Start-Up Funds: Teachers receive an average of $450 annually, funded by both school administration and the Home and School Association, to purchase essential classroom materials. Additional basic supplies are readily available in the teacher workroom.

  New Teacher Mentoring Program: Novice teachers are paired with experienced mentors who guide them through classroom management, curriculum planning, and school procedures. Educators joining OLLIS with prior experience receive support through a buddy program, designed to facilitate a smooth transition.

  Professional Development Opportunities: Through partnerships with local schools and Title funds, teachers are supported in attending conferences and workshops for continuous professional growth.

  Advanced Degree Support: Teachers aspiring to further their education benefit from tuition waivers and substantial financial assistance. OLLIS, in collaboration with Columbia College and the Diocese of Jefferson City, provides access to graduate-level courses and reimbursement of up to 90% for those pursuing advanced degrees, contingent upon a commitment to serve in the diocese.
