Spanish Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our educational team for the 2025-2026 school year. Catholic candidate is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language instruction and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching Spanish to students in grades 6-8 four days a week.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Conduct classes that promote language acquisition through interactive activities and real-life applications.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback.
• Utilize behavior management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Offer tutoring and mentoring support to students needing additional assistance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in education administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Organize classroom resources, including library services, for effective learning.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills.
• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or teaching in diverse educational settings.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and resources effectively.
• Ability to proofread educational materials for accuracy and clarity.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support student engagement.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds.
