Housekeeper
Overview
Our Housekeepers play an important role in the comfort of our senior living residents. They ensure the cleanliness of resident rooms and apartments while respecting residents’ personal items and space. They are also responsible for cleaning common areas and bathrooms. The right person for this role will be friendly, attentive, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with our senior residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting
- Taking out the trash
- Cleaning/disinfecting bathrooms
- Cleaning windows
- Cleaning carpets
- Changing bed and bath linens
- Other tasks as requested by supervisor
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a housekeeper preferred
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques and methods preferred (e.g., carpet cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, washing & mopping, etc.)
- Professional attitude along with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
