Location: Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital, Slidell, LA (Northshore)

Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital in Slidell, LA, is seeking a temporary Food Services Manager to oversee our Dietary and Housekeeping Departments. Key Responsibilities:
Dietary Management:
Supervise the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring they meet dietary requirements and quality standards.
Oversee food and supply orders to maintain inventory and budget guidelines.
Maintain kitchen areas and equipment in sanitary, compliant condition.
Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Oversight:
Plan, organize, and manage all housekeeping operations for the hospital.
Ensure all spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Assist in the training, coaching, and development of housekeeping staff to enhance performance and growth.
Leadership:
Provide direction and support for both the Dietary and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless operation.
Uphold our commitment to excellence in patient care through supportive management and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
Completion of an approved Dietary Manager’s course that meets state regulations.
Experience in a leadership role with knowledge of Environmental Services and Dietary management.
Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
Experience:
2 years of relevant experience in food services or housekeeping operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proven ability to train, lead, and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
