What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper 3 position at Our Lady of the Lake?
Supervises and coordinates the activities of and works with environmental services staff. Reports to the supervisor.
- Demonstrates use of cleaning materials and equipment and explains methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and manpower. Leads and works with cleaning crew in assigned areas. Inspects equipment used in performance of duties for proper functioning. Inspects supplies and requisitions them from stock. Enhances professional growth and development through seminars and workshops to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways and public areas. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or vocational/specialized training preferred.
- Sufficient related experience.
- Must be able to work from detailed written and oral instructions.
- Requires attention to detail of work routine, verbal and written communication skills, and the performing of routine and repetitive tasks.
