About the Role
Mental Health and Addiction Support
We are seeking a dedicated Therapist (Counselor) to join Our Lady's Inn team, providing vital mental health and addiction support services to our clients at the St. Charles County maternity home.
This role involves working with residential clients on an individual basis and in group settings, offering mental health and substance abuse counseling, support, resource referral, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with each client through regular meetings.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and track client progress.
- Orient new clients to our mental health program, help them establish personal goals, and monitor their accomplishments.
- Collaborate with our Program Director and Director of Counseling to identify and implement effective mental health programming for clients.
- Work closely with all staff and community partners to ensure comprehensive support.
- Facilitate classes using evidence-based curricula focused on emotional wellness, communication, and healthy relationships.
- Assist clients in accessing resources for drug treatment and mental health evaluations.
- Record case activity, complete relevant case notes, and store files in a timely manner.
