We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate culinary professional with strong leadership, organizational, and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
- Develop and implement innovative and creative menus.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure proper food ordering and storage procedures.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and control food costs to maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for food.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff.
