Location: West Palm Beach, FL (In-person)
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $37 per hour
Our Sacred Academy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit special needs academy serving individuals ages 3-22 years. We provide a unique, integrated approach that combines academics and therapies under one roof, creating a dynamic learning environment tailored to students with special needs.
We are seeking a qualified and credentialed Special Education Teacher to lead our Title I program. About the Role:
As a Special Education Tutor, you will provide one-on-one and small-group instruction to support students' academic development. Your key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with academy educators to promote student growth
- Teaching and reinforcing key concepts using individualized curriculum materials
- Designing engaging activities to enhance learning and retention
- Providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and the academic team
- Helping students achieve academic goals set by Our Sacred Academy
- Being part of a meaningful and dedicated team that fosters student success
Who We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor’s degree (Required)
✔ Valid ESE Florida Teaching Certification (Required)
✔ Experience tutoring in:
- Elementary Reading & Math
- Middle School Reading & Math
- High School Reading
- Experience working with special education students (Required)
- Ability to tutor in person during school hours on-site
✔ Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and excellent driving record✔ A passion for working with children and helping them succeedApplication Questions:
