General Responsibilities:
Supports the mission of Our Savior Lutheran Church & Preschool through the oversight and coordination of the following areas: operations, facilities, and personnel. Provides continual evaluation and recommendation for best practices and provides excellent service to Ministry Leadership and Ministry Support staff, volunteers, and the community.

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Manages an effective electronic records storage system that provides access to the appropriate staff, committees, and departments.
- Maintains records for and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensures that information systems meet the requirements of the organization, are fully operational, and are maintained with adequate technical support.
- Oversees, evaluates, and improves administrative operations including office equipment, supplies, and training.
- Performs all other reasonable tasks, duties, responsibilities, or assignments as directed by the Lead Pastor.
Facilities:
- Manages the organization’s facility, including projects, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Works with the Security Coordinator and staff to manage badge disbursement, usage and ensures the security of the building and safety of its occupants.
- Manages and facilitates all facility usage requests, to include the programming and scheduling of doors, and addresses specific requirements pertaining to facility usage.
- Oversees buildings and grounds insurance policies, review coverage levels and make recommendations regarding revised coverage.
- Works with Building and Grounds Committee as liaison and advisor in identifying and addressing the management of church properties.
- Continually thinking forward and strategically planning, alongside Buildings and Grounds committee, regarding the facility and property.
- Works with the business manager, treasurer, and Finance Committee to monitor the annual budget.
- Manages the preparation of contracts for approval by an authorized officer of the congregation.
- Manages all purchases, ensuring completion of appropriate bidding, execution of outside vender contracts, and receipt of services and products.
Personnel:
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates Custodial staff
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates Ministry Support staff.
- Coordinates recruitment, offers, and all related documentation for hiring of ministry support staff.
- Communicates all facility usage to and between committees, departments, staff, and members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a non-profit, faith-based, or educational setting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic understanding of Information Technology and security systems for operational effectiveness.
- Basic understanding of facilities and facilities operations
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of:
- Budget and finance
- Preschool operations and early childhood education standards
Working conditions:
Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
