Office Assistant Job Description
Job Title : Office Assistant
Job Description : The Office Assistant is an important role in the function of Our Savior Lutheran Church and
works for the community of Our Savior Lutheran Church. The Office Assistant works closely with OSLC Pastor,
the council president, vice-president and treasurer. The Office Assistant provides the OSLC members with
important church related information.
Qualifications :
Associates degree in business, IT, or 5-year office experience with Quick Books and program layout.
Church Office experience preferred.
Good organizational skills
Good interpersonal communication and language skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge and ability of computer systems, social media, and some experience with Quick Books
Responsible to the president and vice-president of the church council and Pastor :
- The church council president and / or vice-president will provide direction, support and review with the input of
- the Pastor and treasurer as follows :
- 1 month probation
- Meet on a quarterly basis to review the position and duties
- Yearly evaluation
