Overview
OSLC is seeking a 20 hr./week Children’s Education Director to organize and run Sunday School and Children’s Church for toddlers through 5th grade. Candidates will work closely with the Children’s Events Director and should be willing to work with children and volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Sunday School Educational programs that meet the needs of students and align with institutional goals.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide leadership in student services, ensuring that students receive comprehensive support throughout their educational journey.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Engage with students to gather feedback on educational experiences and address any concerns.
- Stay informed about trends in higher education and incorporate best practices into program development.
Skills
- Proven experience in higher education teaching, demonstrating a commitment to student learning and success.
- Strong background in education administration, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, and administration.
