What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Designer position at Our Team?
SUMMARY:
The Digital Designer is a key member of the creative team and is responsible for working with the advertising agency team and internal Marketing team to create innovative and visually stunning work. They play a pivotal role in realizing the brand direction, are responsible for assisting with the development and execution of creative concepts, and will help ensure creative projects align with the brand objectives.
This role will participate in multiple projects in which their responsibilities are required, primarily focused on digital advertising, email campaigns, website updates, etc. Assistance with various other print projects may be required as well. The Digital Designer is responsible for working with agency partners and internal Marketing team members to ensure projects are timely. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement creative strategies aligning with the brand’s business goals and objectives.
- Concept Development: Collaborate with creative teams to generate innovative and compelling creative concepts that resonate with target audiences. This role is primarily focused on digital advertising projects.
- Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
- Create and produce design elements such as logos, illustrations, layouts, and digital graphics.
- Assist with website activities and updates in partnership with the internal IT team
- Participate in brainstorming session with the Sr. team and key vendors to develop relevant in-restaurant promotions.
- Work closely with senior team in developing brand presentations.
- Serve as marketing support to field for LSM requests.
KEY INTERFACES:
On a frequent basis will interface with Department Heads, agency partners and Marketing Team members.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports directly to the Sr Director of Marketing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills a must.
- Commitment to work in a team environment with other departments.
- Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Wordpress.
- Knowledge of HTML preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or 5-7 years relevant experience.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Familiarity with restaurant and marketing operations desired.
- Must be able to maneuver and lift promotional equipment upwards to 30 pounds.
- Must have a clean, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must have favorable background check and drug test.
