Role Summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for safely transporting customers, employees, and vehicles between various locations, such as dealerships, service centers, and parking facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

More about the role

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport passengers and vehicles between designated locations.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all passengers, assisting them with entry and exit from the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained, performing routine checks and reporting any issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers and the public.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service staff, and management to coordinate schedules and service requests.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as necessary, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
• Provide information and assistance to customers regarding dealership services, hours of operation, and directions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What we look for

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate large vehicles safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Physical ability to assist passengers and handle luggage or other items as needed.
