Job Description
This role is responsible for transporting cabinets to client locations and ensuring a positive customer experience. During non-delivery periods, you will assist with cabinet assembly in the warehouse. This position requires a commitment to safety, strong communication skills, and adaptability to meet the dynamic demands of the job.
What You Will Do:
Delivery
- Load cabinets into the company truck, securing them safely for transport.
- Transport cabinets to client locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety policies.
- Unload cabinets at client sites and return the truck to the company location.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain delivery equipment, and promptly report any issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the delivery process.
Cabinet Assembly
- Assemble cabinet boxes by installing drawer slides, doors, accessories, and drawer fronts.
- Operate woodworking machines and use hand/power tools to complete tasks.
- Follow blueprints and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Support the assembly team with other duties as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: Experience as a delivery driver, particularly with box trucks.
- Knowledge of woodworking or related assembly processes is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and insurability by the company.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Fluency in English required; Spanish fluency is a plus.
- High energy, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
What You Will Experience:
- Exposure to noise and dust in a cabinet shop and warehouse setting.
- Primarily in Northern Utah, Travel to client sites, year-round.
- Regularly lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive wrist, hand, finger movements.
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery.
- Stand or sit for extended periods.
- Wear PPE, including close-toed shoes and eye/ear protection.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
