Job Description
We are looking for a Field Measurer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure cabinetry installations are seamless by performing precise on-site measurements of client spaces. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members, coordinate schedules, and provide detailed documentation to support our projects. This role also serves as a backup designer to our Project Manager team, utilizing CAD software for designs. What You Will Do:
- Perform precise measurements for cabinetry projects and promptly deliver these to the Project Manager.
- Serve as a backup designer for Project Managers using Cabinet Vision CAD software.
- Identify and document any issues that may impact installation, as noted in project drawings.
- Take field measurements following sheetrock installation or when conditions ensure accuracy.
- Set expectations with remodel customers prior to cabinet tear-outs.
- Coordinate schedules with clients, contractors, and the company scheduler to ensure timely measurements.
- Address client and contractor questions and requests regarding cabinetry needs.
- Complete and verify field measurement sheets to confirm accuracy for all measured spaces.
- Use software tools like Cabinet Vision CAD, dovetail, and information sheets to include project details such as addresses and lot numbers.
- Support Cabinet Vision catalog management, programming, and cut-list engineering.
- Adhere to quality and safety standards, including Safety Data Sheets and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain and inspect job-related equipment, reporting issues to management as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in cabinetry, countertop installation, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in CAD design.
- Degree in construction management preferred.
- Physical ability to perform essential tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Clean driving record and reliable attendance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to pass random drug tests
What You Will Experience:
- Regular travel to client locations and work in cabinet shop/warehouse settings.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
- Standing, bending, stooping, and crouching for extended periods.
- Working with and around power tools, heavy machinery, and measuring devices.
- Exposure to noise and dust in the shop/warehouse.
- Wearing PPE, including close-toed shoes, and eye/ear protection.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- cabinetry and/or countertop installation: 3 years (Preferred)
- CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
