Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Cabinet Installer to join our team and help bring custom designs to life in Northern Utah. If you're a skilled craftsman with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
What You Will Do:
- Travel to client locations throughout Northern Utah to deliver and install custom cabinetry.
- Accurately measure and prepare spaces for cabinet installation, following blueprints for perfect fits.
- Remove old cabinetry during remodels and ready spaces for new installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete the installation process.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace both on-site and in the workshop.
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure smooth installations and meet expectations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring tools are maintained in top condition.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven cabinet installation experience or similar carpentry background, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in woodworking is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and resolve installation issues.
- Skilled with power tools, measuring instruments, and woodworking machinery.
- Basic math skills to ensure precise measurements and adjustments.
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Reliable, with good time management skills and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
What You Will Experience:
- Perform hands-on work both on client sites and in our shop/warehouse.
- Physical demands including lifting, bending, crouching, and working with tools and machinery.
- Regular exposure to noise, dust, and other conditions requiring adherence to safety measures.
- Use of PPE, including closed-toe shoes, eye protection, and ear protection.
- Periods of standing or sitting, with frequent lifting and handling of equipment, as well as pushing and pulling as needed.
