Position Purpose
The Seasonal Worker will assist in the maintenance of the grounds at the Appleton International Airport.
This is a seasonal position.
Hours are: Monday-Friday 07:00 AM - 3:30 PM
**Desired start date is beginning of April but is flexible.
Key Responsibilities
- Mowing all assigned areas using a lawn tractor.
- Using a weed trimmer.
- Using basic hand tools to do general maintenance.
- Painting outside fixtures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education/Certifications/Experience Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- As this position is employed at the airport will be required to successfully complete required airport background check.
Required or Preferred Skills
Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactively identifying tasks and responsibilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to budget time and schedule work to efficiently complete tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with appropriate safety regulations.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate and light equipment and landscaping equipment.
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift, carry; push, pull, and otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds regularly, understanding and utilizing proper body mechanics.
