Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Solution Architect to join our Commercial Data Transmissions (Lockbox) team. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to migrate existing Lockbox platforms from ImageScan to Deluxe and onboard new clients to both platforms. Additionally, this role will focus on integrating client systems (ERP, Treasury Workstations, etc.) with the bank's infrastructure using various file exchange and transmission protocols to enable seamless payment file exchanges and information reporting. This role also involves partnering with Commercial Product Management to design and implement payment and reporting solutions in collaboration with third-party partners. The Sr. Solution Architect will be responsible for gathering detailed requirements, providing technical expertise, and demonstrating exceptional communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in banking systems, commercial payments, and client integration, with a proven track record of designing and implementing banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Integration: Work with clients to understand their ERP systems and design solutions for seamless payment file exchanges and reporting.
- Technical Expertise: Act as an SME in banking payment systems, file formats (BAI, NACHA, EDI, ISO), and integration technologies.
- Solution Design: Lead requirement gathering, define functional specifications, and develop scalable payment and reporting solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee integration projects, ensuring timely execution, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, work with internal teams (IT, security, product), and provide technical guidance.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on banking trends and enhance payment ecosystems through innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Lockbox systems, including Deluxe and ImageScan platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Lockbox platforms (Deluxe & ImageScan).
- Expertise in file transfer and batch processing integration methods, including:
- ISO (XML)
- EDI (CSV)
- Structured plain text formats (BAI, NACHA, etc.)
- Proficiency in APIs, secure file transfer protocols (SFTP), and other integration technologies.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Proven experience managing complex integration projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Treasury Workstations and ERP integrations.
- Knowledge of commercial payment flows and third-party partnerships in banking.
- Familiarity with cloud-based payment solutions and data security standards.
