Job Overview
- Location: Onsite - NJ (Raritan, Somerset and Piscataway), USA
- 1st contract: 2 years - Independent Contractor 1099 no C2C or C2H (no sponsorship)
- 5 years of experience in data center operations, network support, or systems administration.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Data Center Operations Engineer | Network Infrastructure to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on support of data center systems, network infrastructure, and end-user devices, ensuring the seamless operation of critical services. This role combines both technical expertise and operational efficiency across data centers, networks, and end-user services (EUS).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in data center operations, network support, or systems administration.
- Proven experience with managing and supporting servers, virtual machines, storage solutions, and backup systems.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wireless LAN, WAN, and network security.
- Experience in end-user support (desktops, mobile devices, printers) and mobile device management (MDM).
