Full time Store Clerk position at our beautiful Resort!

A successful employee in the Store Clerk role must be ready and willing to provide exceptional customer service at all times. Working in tandem with the location’s Store Manager to ensure shelves are constantly stocked, customers are tended to in a timely manner, and metrics are being reported on accurately, will be necessary in this role. Engaging with our members is of prime importance and is the focal point of each of our store’s strategy and mission.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store, making them feel
- Answer any questions and address any concerns the customer might have
- Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need and make recommendations
- Examine sales floor when the opportunity presents itself to ensure merchandise is well-stocked, well-maintained and properly rotated
- Process, check, stock and inventory shipments, making sure deliveries are correct and of good quality
- Provide exemplary customer service throughout the shift, helping customers as needed and demonstrating our company culture
- Process business transactions, handle cash, process debit/credit cards and perform returns or exchanges when permitted
- Perform general janitorial duties during and after shift, which consists of sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing and organizing various work areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
- Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time
- Previous experience in a retail environment preferred; training will be provided
- Able to assist customers/guests when needed
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Able to follow verbal directions
