SUMMARY
Do you enjoy working outdoors, having three-day weekends, and earning great pay with benefits? Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Northern Ohio has career positions for outdoor lighting installers to install low-voltage residential lighting systems. No electrical experience is needed. Training is provided. Health, vision, dental, and retirement benefits are also provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
- Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
- Provide customers with system orientation as applicable
- Proper care and operation of company vehicles
- Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
- Running and burying low-voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
- Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
- Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
- Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
- Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
- Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
- Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity
- Above-average technical ability
- Attention to detail and respect for our customer's property
- Systematic in their approach

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ideal candidates should have varied technical and computer experience.
