Job Summary:
The architectural/landscape Lighting Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage lighting systems. This includes diagnosing system issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair low voltage lighting systems, including LED, halogen, and other low voltage fixtures.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, identifying the root cause of issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Perform routine maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and lamp replacements.
* Program and configure lighting control systems, including timers, dimmers, and smart home integration.
* Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical issues and providing recommendations.
* Maintain accurate records of service calls, including work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
* Drive company vehicle to job sites.
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure project success.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest low voltage lighting technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
* Comfortable working in various environments, including indoors and outdoors.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Nights as needed
- Weekends as needed
