Role Summary : The Market Development Manager is responsible for driving the company's growth through strategic identification, planning, and execution of greenfield opportunities in new markets. This role involves conducting comprehensive market research, building business cases, and overseeing the establishment of company-operated locations from the ground up. The ideal candidate will excel at strategic planning, new initiative management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful market entry and long-term growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed market research to identify and evaluate greenfield opportunities in both new and existing markets.
- Develop and present data-driven business cases, including financial models, risk assessments, and strategic market entry plans.
- Lead site selection efforts, including evaluating locations, review leases, and managing contracts with support from third party RE management firm
- Identify and establish partnerships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and local stakeholders to facilitate smooth entry into new markets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, and finance) to ensure seamless integration of new locations into the business.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget launch of greenfield projects.
- Monitor the performance of new locations post-launch and work cross functionally to propose adjustments to optimize operations.
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity to refine greenfield strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine greenfield expansion strategies, using insights from previous launches.
- Prepare detailed reports on market trends, project progress, and post-launch outcomes for executive review.
- Travel up to 20-30% to new markets for on-site evaluations, vendor meetings, and project oversight.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. It may be necessary to work more than 40 hours per week at times to produce the required results.
Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to internal and external client needs and deadlines.
