Rental Yard Coordinator - Cardinal Rental and Sales
Job Description:
Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? Cardinal Rental and Sales is seeking a versatile team member to serve as a Rental Coordinator at our locations in Ontario, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our stores, focusing on customer interactions, coordinating rentals and the efficient management of our rental yard.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the rental yard to ensure equipment is prepared and ready for daily rentals.
- Confirm that the correct units are on rental tickets, and all reserved equipment for the day is ready for customer use.
- Coordinate equipment rentals, prepare and manage rental contracts, and utilize rental software for rate checks, availability, quotes, and reservations.
- Provide excellent customer service with a charismatic and positive attitude.
- Focus on overseeing the rental yard, and assist on the counter answering phones, creating tickets, and overseeing the equipment check-in process.
- Deliver and pick up equipment as needed.
- Act as the face of the company when assisting customers creating a positive and welcoming environment while providing excellent service..
- Address and resolve any issues related to equipment preparation, ensuring a seamless rental process for customers.
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their needs and explain rental charges, addressing any concerns.
- Monitor and manage ongoing contracts, follow up on overdue rentals, and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and other team members to ensure the efficient daily operations of the store.
- Adhere to company policies and rules, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Assume additional responsibilities and tasks as required by the Store Manager.
- Saturday morning availability required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 2 years of experience in roles involving customer service, sales, or management. (Preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Natural inclination towards providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in using phones and computers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record and at least 21 years of age.
